Monday night was the last city council session as mayor for Diana Preston, and the city honored her for her 22 years of service.

Preston has been mayor for four years and served 18 years on the city council.

Preston said she has some projects around the house that will keep her busy, and she can focus more on her family and grandson. And she'll still be an active part of Lilburn.

"It's been a labor of love," Preston said.
