Gwinnett Cooperative Extension Plant Sale Begins

Many varieties are available. Also, learn more in a special class.

Attention, gardeners and green thumb people in Gwinnett: The annual Cooperative Extension Plant Sale is here.

Blueberries, apples, figs or azaleas and gardenias are among the plants for sale, according to a Gwinnett County news release.

Pre-paid orders are being accepted now through March 12. Pick-up date is March 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. All orders should be pre-paid with cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Gwinnett Cooperative Fund.

Also, want to learn more about some of the plants offered in the sale? Join Timothy Daly on March 11 from 7-8:30 pm as he teaches the proper way to prune apple trees, plant blueberries, and how to care for blackberries.

The class will be on the second floor of the Gwinnett County Annex Building, 750 South Perry Street in Lawrenceville. Orders can be placed during the class. Pre-register by March 8 by emailing timothy.daly@gwinnettcounty.com.
