Lilburn City Council Agenda, Aug. 12: SPLOST and More

Mayor Johnny Crist and the Lilburn City Council will meet Monday, Aug. 12, for their regular monthly meeting.
The meeting will take place in Lilburn City Hall at 7:30 p.m., with a work session preceding it at 6:30 p.m. City hall is located at 76 Main St.
The following items are on the agenda for August:
- Approval of the SPLOST Intergovernmental agreement: The city-county agreement that was approved last Tuesday spells out how funds would be divvied up between the municipalities. Lilburn would receive $6.7 million.
- Approval of the Gas South Natural Gas Retail Service Aggreement
- Approval to amend the Traffic and Vehicles Code Ordinance: In July, the council tabled the amendments to the code, which concerns vehicles such as trailers, RVS and boats parked on public streets. The amendment aims to include utility trailers.
- Update the city of Lilburn Speed Zone Ordinance for the use of speed detection devices
