Lilburn City Council Agenda, Aug. 12: SPLOST and More

The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. in city hall.

Mayor Johnny Crist and the Lilburn City Council will meet Monday, Aug. 12, for their regular monthly meeting. 

The meeting will take place in Lilburn City Hall at 7:30 p.m., with a work session preceding it at 6:30 p.m. City hall is located at 76 Main St.

The following items are on the agenda for August: 

  • Approval of the SPLOST Intergovernmental agreement: The city-county agreement that was approved last Tuesday spells out how funds would be divvied up between the municipalities. Lilburn would receive $6.7 million.
  • Approval of the Gas South Natural Gas Retail Service Aggreement
  • Approval to amend the Traffic and Vehicles Code Ordinance: In July, the council tabled the amendments to the code, which concerns vehicles such as trailers, RVS and boats parked on public streets. The amendment aims to include utility trailers. 
  • Update the city of Lilburn Speed Zone Ordinance for the use of speed detection devices
