Lilburn City Council Meeting Agenda Posted

Monthly meeting is Monday at 7:30 p.m.

The monthly Lilburn City Council meeting is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 in the City Hall auditorium. The work session begins at 6:30.

According to the meeting agenda posted on the city’s website (click on "Mayor's Welcome," then select "Agendas"), the meeting will include:

-A commendation of Lilburn resident , an eyewitness to a January bank robbery who was instrumental to the Lilburn Police Department apprehending the suspects.

-A proclamation of March as Youth Art Month in Lilburn, including the Lilburn Woman’s Club’s “Spring into Art” event.

-New Business: The council will consider approval of the payment of SPLOST funds to the Georgia DOT for enhancements on U.S. 29.

-New Business: An amendment to selected Board of Health city ordinances enforced by the county on food service; on-site sewage management; swimming pools, public spa pools and bath houses;  and tourist courts.

-New Business: A request to the Georgia General Assembly to introduce an act to annex certain property in unincorporated Lilburn into the city limits.
