Lilburn Honors Employees at Christmas Luncheon

Officer Trey Taylor received the city's first Bentley Cup Award, named fora longtime Lilburn policeman who died of cancer earlier this year.

At its annual employee Christmas luncheon Wednesday, the city of Lilburn honored employees for their dedication.

The city of Lilburn currently has 56 full-time and six part-time employees.

Bentley Cup

Trey Taylor received the first Bentley Cup Award. This new award is named after Stephen Bentley, a longtime Lilburn police officer who died of cancer earlier this year. The award goes to the officer who achieved the highest level of excellence during the annual weapons qualification. Taylor scored 97 percent.
