Lilburn Woman is Delegate to the Republican National Convention

A Lilburn woman will be a delegate this week at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.

The Republican National Covention opens today, Aug. 27., and one Lilburn woman will be among those representing the state.

Gloria Tow, whose civic engagement has included the Lilburn Woman's Club, is one of nine Gwinnett County residents who will be attending the convention as a delegate in Tampa, Fla.

Tow also is listed as a current member of the executive committee at the Gwinnett County Republican Party.

The other Gwinnett County residents are: Heather Alvarez of Grayson, Bettye Chambers of Buford, Melanie Crozier of Braselton, Debbie Dooley of Dacula, Kathy Hildebrand of Snellville, Jason and Julianne Thompson of Suwanee and Joan Zellner of Burford.

There are 76 delegates representing the state. Georgia's delegation is one of five largest attending, according to a press release from the Georgia Republican Party.
