Mayor Preston and Preschoolers Take a Trip Around the World.
Students at the Primrose School of Five Forks celebrated different cultures and got a visit from Mayor Diana Preston.
It really was a small world after all at the this past Friday, Sept. 30.
Lilburn Mayor Diana Preston joined 130 children at the preschool to celebrate different cultures around the globe.
The children dressed up, carried Greek shields, and made a red dragon and Chinese lanterns. They then took part in a cultural parade, ate ethnic foods and joined hands to sing "It's a Small World After All," "This Land is Your Land" and more.

Mayor Preston suprised the school by proclaiming, in honor of the preschool. the day to be Celebrating Cultures Day in Lilburn, in which "all citizens are urged to celebrate this day and appreciate the many cultural traditions and their contributions that make up our wonderful community, county, state and nation.”
