No Challengers Emerge for Lilburn City Council

Incumbent Council Members Tim Dunn and Eddie Price were the only ones to qualify for November's election.

The qualifying period for the City of Lilburn’s November elections has closed, and it appears as though the incumbents will run unopposed.

Current Council Members Eddie Price (Post 3) and Tim Dunn (Post 4) were the only candidates to submit their qualifications packets to City Hall by the deadline of 4:30pm Friday, August 30.

In an email to Patch, Acting City Clerk Melissa Penate said there is still a chance for opponents to step up. According to Penate, the city will accept names of write-in candidates until Friday, September 6.
