Preston Plans to Seek Re-Election

Lilburn mayor plans to be on the ballot for the Nov. 8 election.

Lilburn Mayor Diana Preston said via email Tuesday that she plans to seek re-election in November.

“Yes, I do plan to run for Mayor,” Preston wrote Tuesday, but was unavailable for further comment afterward.

Preston was elected as mayor in November 2007 and took office in January 2008.  Before then, she was on the Lilburn City Council 1985-86 and 1991-2007. She has been a Lilburn resident since 1975.
