'In God We Trust' Will Cost a Buck

Three finalists in tag design contest revealed. "In God We Trust" sticker no longer part of design, but will be available for an additional charge.

The Department of Revenue has announced the three finalists in the Georgia license plate design contest.

Noticeably absent from the top designs was the statement "In God We Trust" that was displayed across the bottom of all three finalist tags during the preliminary voting.

According to a Department of Revenue spokesperson, citizens may choose to purchase an "In God We Trust" decal. The decal would be displayed in lieu of the county name which is currently placed across the bottom of each tag.
