13 Lilburn Students in Governor's Honors Program

Two from Berkmar and 11 from Parkview were selected for the program for gifted and talented high school seniors and juniors.


Thirteen students from Lilburn high schools were recently selected to take part in the Governor’s Honors Program (GHP), a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors.

Two from Berkmar High School will take part, and 11 from Parkview.

Officials with the Georgia Department of Education, who run the program, interviewed more than 2900 students from across the state over three weekends in January and February. They chose 690 finalists to participate in the 2012 summer program.

The Berkar students are:
