2012-2013 School Year Brings New Principal to Berkmar High

Gwinnett County Board of Education announces new leadership for four schools

Due to retirements and the transitioning of current principals to other positions within the system, four new approvals were announced after a specially called Gwinnett County School Board meeting on May 24.

As of June 1, 2012, Dr. Michael Zinn will assume leadership responsibilities at Berkmar, replacing Principal Ken Johnson who is moving to Archer High to replace retiring Dr. Charles Buchanan.

Dr. Zinn is a graduate of the 2009 Quality Plus Leader Academy Aspiring Principal program and according to a press release from Gwinnett County Public Schools, he brings the following accomplishments to Berkmar:
