2013 Parkview Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Gwinnett County Public Schools announces the names of Parkview High School's 2012-2013 valedictorian and salutatorian.

Gwinnett County Public Schools has released the names of the 2012-2013 valedictorian and salutatorian from Parkview High School.

The title of valedictorian is normally given to the student with the highest GPA, and salutatorian is given to the student with the second-highest GPA. Photos of the honorees are attached to the story.

  • Valedictorian: (removed): intended major is physics. He has received or been offered several scholarships and awards, including a National Merit Scholarship ($2,500), and the National AP Scholars Award. He has served on or participated in the National Honor Society and the Telluride Association Summer Program. among other activities.
  • Salutatorian: Larrie He, son of Jinling Wang and Yi He, will attend the Georgia Institute of Technology. He plans to study applied mathematics His career goals include scientific research and inventing new technologies. He has received or been offered several honors, including the HOPE Scholarship, University of Houston full scholarship, University of Alabama full schlarship and the University of Georgia charter scholarship. He has participated in academic decathlon and the math team.
