Gwinnett Schools Launch New TV Program for Parents

"ParenTVision" debuts Monday, and is geared to issues facing children.

Margaret Cheeley, a teacher at Collins Hill High in Suwanee, will host a new program Monday evening on GCPS TV, the school system's educational channel.

"ParenTVision" helps to educate parents about 21st century issues facing their children today, according to a news release. The show is a collaboration between the school system’s Broadcast and Distance Learning and Advisement and Counseling departments.

“It’s never easy being a parent, but with the technology aspects of today, the challenges facing parents are greater than ever,” says Greg LaHatte, GCPS’ director of broadcast and distance learning. “ParenTVision is our way of helping parents understand what their children are dealing with.”
