Jimmy Nguyen / Valedictorian

Parents: Khanh Em Nguyen and Tuyet Tran.

Major: Biomechanical Engineering.

Scholarship offers: Baldwin Scholarship.

Career goals: "I am planning on going to medical school after attaining my bachelor's degree."

Honors and awards: Scholar Athlete, Varsity Letter, Coach's Award, AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, Junior Marshall, UGA Certificate of Merit. American Mathematics Competition School Winner.

School activities: Beta Club, Math Club, Quiz Bowl, Tennis Team, Academic Decathlon, Science Olympiad, Student Council.

Community activities: YMCA, Church Bible Reading, Church Choir, Church Youth Leader.

Alexander Price / Salutatorian

Parents: Melinda and Robert Price.

College: Georgia Tech.

Major: Chemistry.

Career goals: "My career goals have changed many times, and they will continue to change, but as of now I believe my goal is to get a job involving pharmaceutical engineering."

Honors and awards: Governor's Honors Program State Attendee, AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, State Beta Convention Third-Place Science Contest Winner, Junior Marshall, UGA Certificate of Merit.

School activities: Scholars Bowl, National Honors Society, Beta Club, Math Club, BDPA High School Computer Competition Team.

Community activities: "Various volunteering activities, which oddly involved cleaning out closets most of the time, and tutoring."
