Parkview, Berkmar Among Georgia's Top 20 Schools

Parkview and Berkmar are "silver medal" level schools in U.S. News & World Report's rankings of the nation's best high schools.

 

and high schools are among the top 20 in the state of Georgia in a U.S. News and World Report ranking, and both earned the "silver medal" among schools in the nation.

Parkview ranked 14th in the state, while Berkmar was in 17th place in the magazine's rankings. Nationwide, Parkview is No. 703, and Berkmar is No. 778.

The report judged each school on its teacher to student ratio, students’ rate of college readiness, and students’ average proficiency in math and English.

It calculated values based on student performance on state exit exams and internationally available exams on college-level coursework. The complete ranking for Georgia can be found at the U.S. News website.

Duluth High was No. 10, and Norcross High was ranked No. 12 in Georgia. Meadowcreek High School was in 22nd place.
