Parkview JVs Open Football Season at Grayson

The junior varsity football team opened its 2012 season Thursday, Aug. 30, against Grayson High at Bay Creek Park in Grayson. Grayson won the game 14-0.

It was the season-opener for both teams.

Defense ruled most of the game until Grayson scored with 3:44 left in the third quarter to take a 7-0 lead.

A long punt return for a TD with 3:55 left in the game made it 14-0.

Parkview, which forced three fumbles on defense, drove to inside the Grayson 10-yard line late in the game, but failed to punch it in for a score in the final minutes.
