Parkview, PCA in Boys Soccer Quarters

Panthers play at Walton and Providence is at Savannah Christian tonight.

The boys soccer teams at Parkview High School and Providence Christian Academy play away from home Friday night in the Georgia High School Association state quarterfinals.

Parkview's Panthers (15-3-2) plays at Walton at 8 p.m. in a Class AAAAA matchup.

Parkview has beaten North Gwinnett and Tift County in the first two rounds. The win over Tift County came on penalty kicks after Parkview's Jorge Villalobos scored in regulation to tie the score at 1-1 and send the game into OT, according to a game report on Eurosportscoreboard.com.

Providence's Stars (11-8), , play at Savannah Christian in a match that begins at 5 p.m. In the first round, Will Lowndes scored two goals as the Stars beat Pace Academy in overtime after the game ended 3-3 in regulation time. Ted Perry added a goal for PCA.
