Parkview Student Earns Top Spot in International Science, Engineering Fair

Parkview High's Cory Bhowmik won second place in the Medicine and Health category at the recent Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix.

A Parkview High student recently earned a top spot at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Ariz.

Cory Bhowmik won second place in the Medicine and Health category, earning him $1500. An asteroid also was named after him.

Willie Jin of the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology also earned a top spot at the fair. He won fourth place in the Microbiology category, earning him $500.

at the global event in Phoenix.
