Providence Wins Opener, 11-5 Over Savannah Christian
Series with Savannah Christian picks back up Tuesday at 1 pm.
Rained shortened the first day of the Class A baseball semifinals at Providence Christian Academy Monday in Lilburn.
Providence won the opener 11-5, but the second game of a double-header was postponed by thunderstorms that roared through the area late in the afternoon.
The game was tied 0-0 at the end of the second inning when the rains came.
