’s trip to Coastal Georgia to play baseball will be delayed another day, this time due to the impending landfall of Tropical Storm Beryl.

PCA was scheduled to play at Charlton County High School in Folkston in the Class A state finals beginning at 2 p.m. Monday. Now it won’t begin until at least Tuesday.

Providence announced the postponement on its Facebook page Sunday night:

“Due to the potential storm coming to the area of the championship series, the games scheduled for Monday have been postponed. The leadership will be evaluating the weather situation on a day-by-day basis, and we will let you know as soon as a decision is made.”

This is the second delay of the best-of-three series, which would have begun Saturday, but  postponed due to Providence’s scheduled graduation ceremony Saturday morning.
