2 Parkview Girls Lacrosse Players Sign for Colleges

Victoria Petrassi and Sarah Curlee were the first Parkview girls lacrosse players to sign for colleges.

 

Victoria Petrassi and Sarah Curlee made Parkview High School history Thursday by being the first girls lacrosse players to sign to play for colleges.

Curlee (on the left in the video), will play for Shorter College, while Petrassi will play for Piedmont College.

"Both are wonderful, wonderful young women," said Melissa Smith, who coaches the three-year old team. Smith said she has known both since the eighth grade and coached them in volleyball, too.

"Today, I'd like to honor them and recognize them as they are signing for the next step in life," Smith said.

Curlee is the daughter of Pam and Robert Curlee, and Petrassi is the daughter of Lisa and Mark Petrassi.
