Are you ready for another round of picks?

at Central Gwinnett: Parkview started 0-2, but now is tied for the lead in Region 8-AAAAA. The Panthers (3-2, 3-0 8-AAAAA) still have elite teams ahead on their schedule — Brookwood, Grayson and Dacula — so they cannot afford to lose this one. Central (3-3, 1-3) has lost three straight and essentially would be eliminated from playoff talk with a loss. Parkview has the look of a playoff team. Parkview 21, Central Gwinnett 14.

at South Gwinnett: A pair of 1-5 teams square off in Snellville in a game that has more to do with pride than with postseason aspirations. South Gwinnett (1-3 in the region) has flashed moments of competitive play in virtually every game it has played. The Comets can score, for sure, but they have been hurt by turnovers. Berkmar (0-4 in the region) has been outscored 188 to 15 in a four-game losing streak. The young Patriots will play hard, no doubt, but they have simply been outmanned so far. South Gwinnett 25, Berkmar 7.
