HS Football: Who's in the Gwinnett 100 Coaching Wins Club?
Parkview High School Coach Cecil Flowe, who announced his retirement this past weekend, tops 11 county coaches who have garnered at least 100 wins in Gwinnett County.
Parkview’s 21-13 homecoming victory over Central Gwinnett last Friday night marked the 196th victory for Coach Cecil Flowe at the school.
That’s tops all time in Gwinnett County as just 11 coaches have managed to register at least 100 coaching wins in the county. Flowe won’t be the first to reach the 200-win club as following Friday’s win, he announced that he is stepping down at season’s end.
The Panthers, 2-6, play at Berkmar Friday before concluding the regular season versus South Gwinnett on Nov. 8.

Flowe has been Parkview’s head coach for 21 seasons and his 36-year coaching career dates back to 1978 when he was an assistant at Redan High School. He is leaving quite a legacy at Parkview including four state championships, a 46-game winning streak, three consecutive 15-0 seasons (2000-02) and a 12-year stretch of reaching at least the state quarterfinal.
