Kenny Flowers Lures Texas A&M Offer
Former Parkview football player chose the junior college route and now has Division I offer.
If former Parkview High School football player Kenny Flowers reaches the NFL like his former coach believes he can, no doubt it will be the product of hard work.
Flowers, a 2011 Parkview grad, chose to continue his football life via the junior college route, signing last year with Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College.
Tuesday, Parkview Coach Cecil Flowe announced that Flowers, a linebacker, had received his first Division I football offer from Texas A&M.

In a Facebook post from Hutchinson on Monday, Flowers wrote, “Got my first Division I offer today to go to Texas A&M. Couldn’t have done it without you and the rest of the Parkview Panthers Football Team staff. There’s definitely more to come Thanks a lot.”
Flowe said Flowers is a quiet, tremendous worker.

“Kenny understood his position [academically] and set out to advance it,” Flowe said Tuesday. He said, ‘Coach, Hutchinson is where I need to be. They will take care of me and help me achieve my goal.’
“He has made the most of it. He will play on Sunday [in the NFL].”
