Parkview Baseball Falls in Semifinals

Milton won 10-0 in its third game against the Panthers on Tuesday.

Parkview lost in its third game against Milton 10-0 Tuesday (May 21) in the semifinals, allowing the Eagles to move on to the state championships.

The Parkview vs. Milton semifinals consisted of a best-of-three series this week, with two games being played Monday and the third last night at the Panthers' stadium. On Monday, the Panthers won the first game 4-0 before Milton won the second 10-1.

In Tuesday's deciding game, Milton had scored seven runs in the first inning, one in the second inning, and the final two runs in the sixth inning, which ended the game. The Eagles will play against Roswell in the Class AAAAAA state championships May 25 and May 27.

The Parkview boys took home the state championship title for 2012 and 2011.
