Parkview Baseball Players Make SEC Commitments

Parkview baseball players Matt Olson and Jack Esmonde, who led the Panthers to the state Class AAAAA championship this past spring, have made commitments to attend SEC schools, according to this Gwinnett Daily Post report.

Both players are juniors.

Olson, who batted .426 with 17 home runs and 53 RBIs chose Vanderbilt.

Esmonde, who hit .409 with 20 RBIs, committed to Georgia.

Both players also pitched: Olson going 8-3 with a 3.65 earned run average; Esmonde, 4-1, with four saves and a 2.76 ERA.
