Parkview Baseball Recieves Championship Rings
Parkview Baseball received their championship rings in a ceremony Friday night.
The Parkview Panthers 2010-2011 Baseball team got some dazzling rings on their fingers during halftime of Parkview's football game against Shiloh.
Led by Coach Chan Brown, the Panthers baseball team took the field to be recognized for their impressive run to seize the class AAAAA baseball championship against Hillgrove.
Panther fans at the Big Orange Jungle had plenty to cheer about Friday night with a and the ring ceremony for their very own baseball state champions.

Players lined up with their families and received thunderous applause from the home crowd when announced. The most boisterous support was shown for Coach Brown. There were smiles and congratulations all around as the players got one last reunion and acknowledgment for their hard work last season.

It was the first baseball championship for Parkview since 2002. Kansas City Royal right fielder, Jeff Francoeur, led the Panthers to back-to-back championships in 2001 and 2002. His grand slam in the last inning of the 2002 championship sealed the victory for the Panthers.
Last year's run was led by MLB prospect Matt Olson. Olson, an Under Armour All-American, came up big on the plate and the mound for the Panthers.
Parkview’s championship roster featured: Marquis Webb, Jeff Ronpirin, Jack Esmonde, Ryan Blanton, Nick Bader, Travis Naraine, Edwin Arias, Ben Redford, Austin Fisher, Rob Youngblood, Phillip Taylor, Mac Marshall, Zack Reinstein, Josh Hart, Jarrett Freeland, AJ Davis, Matt Olson, Jesse Foster, Ryan McCranie, JP Chamblee, Sam McCoy, Hunter Thornton, Micah Finley and Brooks Davis.
Parkview was coached by Head Coach Chan Brown and assistants David Palmer, Mark Mortimer, Roy Massey, Justin Bishop, Bo Brison, Joey Farah, David Reynolds, Gator Parker, Doug Wagner and Mike Cooper.
