Parkview High Drops to No. 2 Spot in Baseball America Poll
Losing right-hander Jarrett Freeland could be a game changer.
In Baseball America's and the National High School Baseball Coaches Association's top 25 teams list, there is already a change this season.
Parkview High, which was ranked No. 1 preseason, is now at the No. 2. The Panthers lost their opening game against Collins Hill, and Baseball America said that set the team back.
The rankings are as of March 10 records, and were released March 12.

In addition, the team has lost No. 2 starter Jarrett Freeland to an injury. The student will likely need ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction.

March 1: Collins Hill wins 4-1
March 4: Parkview wins 10-7 against Catersville
March 8: Parkview wins 5-0 against Marist
Next game is March 13, against Central Gwinnett
