Providence Girls Beat Mountain View in OT (With Video)
Late comeback forces overtime, then Stars take care of business.
Stephanie Cailor scored 25 points, including the game-winning free throws in overtime, as Providence Christian's girls beat Mountain View 60-56 in the seventh-place game Thursday at the Deep South Classic at Brookwood High School.
Cailor, who made four three-pointers, also made a key layup in the final seconds of regulation as the Stars outscored Mountain View (1-10) 14-7 down the stretch to force OT.
Mountain View led 47-40 when the Stars stormed back.

With Mountain View leading 52-49, Cailor made a free throw to pull the Stars within one point with 1:04 left in regulation. After Mountain View missed two free throws, Aubrey Gold pump-faked, then made a jump shot in the lane to tie the score.
Mountain View missed two shots after that, and Cailor gathered up a pass along the left side of the court and scored on a breakway layup to put the Stars up 54-52 with 7.6 seconds left.

But Mountain View's Emery Buckner answered with a jump shot just before the buzzer to send the game into overtime.
In OT, Cailor made 4 of 6 free throws to secure the win.
Erika Godfredson, who made three three-pointers, added 13 points for Providence (6-6).
Tynisha Bledsoe scored 16 points and Buckner added 15 for Mountain View.
