Weather:

• Find some place and keep it cool today ... the high is expected to be 104! That's right 1-0-4! The UV Index is 11 - which is EXTREME. We can't stress enough the need to be safe in this hot weather. Air Quality: 

•  Georgia's Clean Air Campaign predicts an air quality index of 151 which is A CODE RED ALERT! It's considered unhealthy for EVERYBODY:  Everyone, especially people with heart or lung disease (including asthma), older adults and children should cut back or reschedule strenuous activities. Sensitive groups should avoid strenuous activities.

Hollywood, Holidays & Observances:

• Hotly debated in my house growing up, was "he who was in charge of the Remote Control. Today is also Remote Control Day. Be in control. 
• And then there is this: Spare Us the Details Day. One of the worst thins you can do when updating with Tweets or your Facebook Status is to give us all those details on your ex, your boss, or even your dinner! But then, if you don't give us the details, there's the "vaguebooking" monicher that's just so hard to overcome, too. What's a girl to do? Use the day to exercise a little discretion ... and tact ... we'll call for the details.
