Memorial Day Weekend Weather - Get Ready for Some Heat

Weather predictors say to expect a hot Memorial Day weekend to officially kick off the 2012 summer season.

Although summer isn't officially here yet, Memorial Day weekend usually signifies that it's well on its way. This year is no different. If you're planning an outdoor weekend, expect it to be a hot one.

According to Weather.com, the temperatures start today at 91 in Lilburn and are set to hit 94 by Saturday. There is a slight cool down expected for Sunday and Monday, with 88 and 89 respectively. There is only a 10-percent chance of rain on Friday and Monday and with partly cloudy or partly sunny conditions expected throughout the weekend. A tropical storm on the coast, however, is something to keep an eye on. It could have an impact on the weather toward the end of the weekend.

However, if you intend to spend much of the Memorial Day weekend outside, remember to stay hydrated, wear cool clothing - and don't forget the sunscreen!
