No Medal for Eric Shanteau in Weekend's 2012 Olympic Games

The Parkview High graduate is competing in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and we've gathered his results so far.

Eric Shanteau, a graduate of and former Lilbun resident, completed one of his swimming competitions over the weekend.

In the 100-meter breaststroke, Shanteau placed fourth in his Saturday preliminary heat with a time of 59.96; overall he place 11th. In semi-final races, Shanteau again placed fourth in his heat, and 11th overall.

Shanteau, however did not make the finals for the 100-meter breaststroke. In order to move to the finals, swimmers must be among the eight fastest competitors from the semi-final races.

Shanteau swims next on August 3 in the 100-meter medley race.
