Now That School Is out, See What Summer Activities Kids Can Do

The last day of school for Gwinnett County students was Wednesday, May 22. See what fun activities you can get your child involved with over the summer.

May 22 was the last day of school for Gwinnett County Public Schools students. The following days, May 23 and May 24, are the last teacher planning days for the school year.

Teachers return for the 2013-2014 school year on July 31, and students return August 7.

Here are a few things to get your children through the summer months:

  • Register now online for summer reading programs at the local library. Turn in completed application by August 17.
  • Participate in Vacation Bible School at your local church.
