More Community Safety and Crime Prevention news from SafetySmart Lilburn

New SafetySmart Lilburn, Inc board members elected Tuesday June 21, 2011.

Newly elected President Margot Ashley has been with SafetySmart Lilburn, Inc (SSL) since day one (June 2010). Margot served as Board Secretary and has played an invaluable role in SSL progress. Her commitment of uncountable hours and dedication to all aspects of SSL is second to none.

Teresa Czyz will serve as Vice President and brings to SSL her years of experience starting as well as managing a Neighborhood Watch Group here in Lilburn. Teresa was instrumental in last year’s and Lilburn’s first National Night Out. She’s back again this year and 2011 NNO promises to be even more effective in it’s outreach to our community.

There are doers and there are visionaries... these two ladies are incredible doers and that’s what it takes to make any effort successful. While some are “vision-casting” Margot and Teresa are getting things done.

After serving as President for the first year of SafetySmart Lilburn Thor Johnson is stepping down. Thor will remain at SafetySmart in a capacity of managing communications and marketing. …”in this position I can help broaden peoples awareness of who we are and what we do”.
