Step Up For a Cure

It's that time of year again - sponsor or join a team for the 8th annual Lilburn Relay Rally

It’s time once again to step up and either sponsor or join a team for the 8th Annual Lilburn Relay Rally.  Leaders would like to double the contributions from  last year.

The GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club (LWC) and the Lilburn Business Association (LBA), in collaboration with the City of Lilburn and many other community groups, have already committed to sponsor the Lilburn Relay Rally which will be held on April 27, 2012 in Lilburn City Park located at 76 Main Street behind City Hall from 5-10pm

Concerned citizens of Lilburn and the surrounding area are working diligently to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.  Now it’s your turn to join in the fight against cancer.   The sponsorship deadline is fast approaching, so please don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in the search for a cure.  Go to www.gwinnettrelayforlife.org to create your own team and learn about how you and your employees can play a role in helping our loved ones keep lighting more birthday candles.

If forming your own team is not a viable option for you, the ladies from the Lilburn Woman’s Club invite you to join their ‘Women in Action’ team by registering online

The LWC will also host a ‘Survivors' Reception’ in City Hall prior to the opening ceremony to honor all of our local citizens who have fought and survived this terrible disease.   The Relay begins at 5:30 PM with opening ceremonies followed by cancer survivors leading the first lap. There will be entertainment until 10 p.m..  Attendees and participants will enjoy an evening of entertainment, inspiration and support as the community raises funds and cancer awareness in Lilburn City Park located at 76 Main Street, Lilburn.
