Viewfinder: Lilburn Relay Rally
Annual fundraiser for cancer research raised $25K (Video and Photos).
The seventh annual Lilburn Relay Rally drew more than 200 participants who raised nearly $25,000 to go to cancer research. The "Women in Action" team, sponsored by the Lilburn Woman's Club, raised $8,600.
The event filled Lilburn City Park with music, food and tears, as the community came together honor those who have fought the disease.
In a poignant ending to the evening, 600 luminaries ringed the park as participants took one final lap, accompanied by "Amazing Grace" played on bagpipes.
