Check out all the different things happening in town from Aug. 12-17.

This week in Lilburn is a busy one.

On Monday (Aug. 12), the Lilburn City Council will meet for its regular monthly meeting. Although a short list, among the items on the agenda are SPLOST and city speed zones. Click here for a run down of the full agenda and start time

Onto more city business, the Alcohol Review Board is scheduled to meet Thursday (Aug. 15) at 7 p.m. in Lilburn City Hall. Check will city Licensing and Revenue Manager Kaleigh Frederick at KFrederick@cityoflilburn.com for when the agenda becomes available.

It's finally football season in Gwinnett! Both Parkview and Berkmar will play scrimmage games Friday (Aug. 16) at 7:30 p.m. Parkview plays at Mill Creek  and Buford is heading to the Patriots stadium.

Before the game, though, be sure to head down to the weekly Farmers Market across from Lilburn City Hall. See all the vendors and cool activities happening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and check Patch's Boards section that morning to see the specific details.

Finally, Lilburn's Music on Main Street is continuing its Concert Series at 6 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 17) with Copious Jones. From their Reverbnation bio: "This diverse 6-piece defies genre and has become increasingly popular with both the younger and older generations by drawing from an eclectic variety of inspirations such as: progressive-rock, funk, jazz, Latin, classical, African, blues, folk, jam, electronic and so much more." Tickets are $10.
