McDonalds is--well-- Mickie D's with all it's good and bad. No surprises here, clean, reasonable service, kid friendly. Not gourmet, but you aren't paying gourmet prices either. Gourmet burgers=fudruckers=out of business, so Mickie D's has certainly established itself in Ray Kroc's niche.
Their $1 sausage and biscuit is a great quickie tummie treat on a busy morning and the reason I go sometimes.
