When I pulled into the parking lot I immediate thought I was at a restaurant on the FL panhandle. very clever, they used oyster shells to cover the outside walls instead of stucko and it looks pretty cool. We were surprised with the large selection of both traditional American food as well as fresh gulf seafood. Prices were pretty average with other neighborhood restaurants like Chilis or Ruby Tuesdays. But the food was so much better. Lots of TVs to watch sports on as well! For those who ARE looking for a great seafood restaurant, look no further! The food comes fresh from the Gulf. They also run two specials during the week one night is 1lb of crab legs for $7.99 and the other is 1 doz Raw Oyster for only $5.
My office is close by too and the Oyster Barn has become a staple for our lunch runs. Great sandwiches and wings. My favorite is the Chicken Philly.

If you're looking for fried oysters, this is THE place!
