Accident occurred near Macy’s department store.

A child was injured after falling on an escalator at the Mall of Georgia Wednesday evening. The Dec. 28 accident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. near Macy’s. According to Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services public information officer Capt. Tommy Rutledge, a small child fell from a stroller while on the escalator.
