Cookout for a Cause
Lilburnites turn out for good food and Fun-draising in support of this week's Lilburn Relay Rally
Former Mayor Diana Preston was on hand to greet the citizens and friends of Lilburn who came out in support of this year's annual "Cookout for a Cause' held Thursday to benefit the American Cancer Society Fun-draiser. Her invitation to the cookout contained a personal message about her current journey dealing with the challenges of breast cancer. She spent some time thanking people for their cards and prayers and good wishes for a speedy recovery. After completing her chemotherapy she will start radiation treatments in May and is looking forward to working through that process and regaining her previous energy levels.
