Cash, Gaming Systems Stolen From Lilburn Pub

The manager of Bailen's Pub off Indian Trail Road told police that the bar top games are worth $8,000.

Cash and thousands of dollars worth of gaming systems were reported stolen in a burglary at Bailen's Pub in Lilburn. According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the bar, which is located at 865 Indian Trail Road, was broken into by someone smashing the front door sometime between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Jan. 22. The suspect entered the restaurant and went through the pub's cash drawer and took the cash. The person also took two Mega Touch bar top gaming computers, which the manager said is worth $4,000 a piece. The suspect attempted to pry open a large machine safe located near the smashed door but was unsuccessful. A lockbox safe filled with documents also was opened, and the contents were scattered over the floor. The manager told police …

Liquor License Allegedly Stolen Out of Revenge

Inside the Police Reports: A Bailen's Pub staffer says a former owner is attempting to bring down the bar.

A Lilburn bar reported its liquor license stolen last month in an attempt to shut down the business.  Gwinnett police responded to Bailen's Pub, located at 865 Indian Trail Lilburn Road, after a staff member reported the theft of the license Aug. 29. According to the police report, the staff member, 33, told police that an ex-partial owner had called and told her that he had someone steal the liquor license. He also said he was going to have the business shut down. She hadn't noticed the license gone in the bar before the call, but once she was off the phone, she realized that the license was missing from its frame, which had been busted.  She told police that the former owner hadn't been there, but his girlfriend had.
