How do you do you do your shopping for Christmas gifts?

Every year there is an increased drive to get shoppers into stores. Black Friday now gets an early start on Thanksgiving Thursday, Buy Local campaigns push Small Business Saturday shopping and technology and social media sites encourage Cyber Monday logins. The message is clear - shop early and shop often. So what is your shopping style for the holidays? Will you be shopping off your Thanksgiving meal on Thursday or Friday, supporting the small businesses in your area on Saturday or is the computer your preferred shopping mall on Cyber Monday? Avoid Cyber Monday Scams

The Better Business Bureau offers tips on how to avoid giving online hackers and scammers a shopping bonanza this Christmas shopping season.

According to shopping experts, Cyber Monday has now become the most popular day to shop for the holidays — and why not? That way you get to avoid all the crowds. However, shopping online opens you up to scammers and hackers just waiting to take advantage of this latest trend. “The convenience and ease of shopping online has replaced the hassle of going to the store for many people—but online shopping has its own set of risks,” said Fred T.
