After thousands of votes from across the country, Joseph Felix's home was crowned the best decked house in the country and the winner of $100,000 for local schools.

In this year's Deck the House contest, the second time was the charm. Joseph Felix's Dallas home outshined the other 24 finalists to win the 2012 Deck the House contest and $100,000 for Paulding County Schools. After placing second in the nationwide voting in the 2011 contest, the Felix home received nearly 11,000 votes this year to finally win Deck the House. The home, with 100,000 computer animated holiday lights choreographed to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You," received about 300 more votes than a home in Coventry, R.I., which finished in second place. Who has the best “decked” house in Lilburn? According to users who voted in our annual Deck the House contest, this home on Vista Heights Way has the best holiday lights in Lilburn. We had tons of national entries in this year’s Deck the House contest and in our quest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in the country, we’ve seen everything from a life-size Santa to holiday lights so bright they could blind the neighbors. We loved showcasing everyone’s holiday spirit, but Deck the House isn’t over yet. We’re still looking for the one home so spectacularly decorated that it could be the national grand prize winner of our contest. We will choose 24 finalists from all our entries across the country. We’re launching our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best “decked” house in the country—the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in town jokes your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center’s. If this sounds like your house, upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page from Nov. 26 to Dec. 16. Here is the link to the contest page.
