Dr. Richard Benjamin Haynes, pastor of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Lilburn, was guest chaplain Wednesday for the U.S. House of Representatives. Dr. Haynes, hosted by Georgia District 7 Rep. Rob Woodall (R, Lawrenceville), delivered the morning invocation on the House floor. The pastor's appearance was announced in a press release from Woodall's office. “It was a pleasure to host Dr. Haynes up here in Washington, D.C. The spirit and life Dr. Haynes brings to his calling as a pastor can be felt by anyone who meets him.
