Need a dose of caffeine to help keep you going as holiday shopping and party planning wrap up? RaceTrac is offering complimentary coffee, any size, every day this week. There is no Racetrac in Lilburn, but nearby there's a couple: The company on its Facebook Page has also posted a coupon for a free breakfast sandwich, which can be combined with the free coffee offer. Lilburn McDonald's will be giving away coffee for a week to celebrate National Coffee Day
National Coffee Day is Sept. 29, and to recognize the day, Lilburn and other McDonald's restaurants will be giving away free coffee for a week, starting Sunday, Sept. 23. For Keith Muller, the owner/operator of the McDonald's on Five Forks Trickum in Lilburn and 19 other locations, it's a way to show customer appreciation. "One day seems kind of hit or miss, so we thought, why don't we start a week earlier," he said. "We're giving everyone a whole week to get a free cup of coffee." Muller estimates that the store will be giving away 600-700 cups a day, as much as 6,000 in all. Pretty much all the McDonald's "up and down the East coast" will be giving away cups of joe all week, Muller said.
