Woodall Has GOP Challenger in District 7

David Hancock is COO of Automation Control Products. Also, a Lawrenceville attorney will seek the district post as a Democrat.

U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall has a challenger in his bid for re-election. David Hancock, of Suwanee, the chief operating officer of Alpharetta-based Automation Control Products, has qualified as a Republican to challenge Woodall, according to records with the Georgia Secretary of State's Office. The GOP primary is July 31. Qualifying as a Democrat to seek the District 7 seat was Steve Reilly of Lawrenceville. Do you think Rob Woodall will win re-election to Congress? Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum pleaded his case for the Republican nomination by promising to get the country back to its moral founding.

Georgia was certainly on presidential hopeful Rick Santorum’s mind as he spoke at First Redeemer Church in Cumming Sunday evening. Lori Vance, who has worked closely with Santorum on the Senate floor to pass a partial birth abortion ban, was among those who arrived hours before the church doors opened.
