Six road projects have been added to this week's report: Buford Duluth Lawrenceville Snellville This project was removed from the list: Duluth: Sidney Lanier Boulevard at Pleasant Hill Road, which had lane closures throughout April. The weekly Gwinnett County road closure report from the Gwinnett DOT (for March 16-22). Added to this week's report: Lee Road east of Anderson Livsey Road will close March 19 through early April for culvert replacement, weather permitting. The detour route will be Lee Road to Anderson Livsey Road to Telida Trail to Lee Road and the reverse. For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678-376-7000. Officials are closing part of Killian Hill Road for emergency road repairs.
Updated: The area is now open, as of about 3 p.m. According to officials, a portion of the bridge was blocked while a contractor for the Yellow River bridge replacement project moved a drill rig, which is used for drilling the foundation of the new bridge, from one side of the river to the other. --------- Killian Hill Road at the Yellow River is closed for emergency roadway repairs, according to the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation. The detour route will be Killian Hill Road to Five Forks Trickum Road to Oak Road to Highpoint Road to U.S. Highway 78 to Killian Hill Road and the reverse. I think the stuff at Johnson road and hwy 29 is done. I drive thru there a couple times a week. They haven't had any construction stuff since about late January more ›
