The holidays are a good time to remember local charities that may need your help. Today we spotlight Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity.
Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity serves families all over the county, including Lilburn. The Christian-based organization works to build and renovate homes, so that all families can have a place to call home, and so "every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends," according to the website. In order to provide the affordable housing, Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity seeks donations and partners with sponsors to build homes in local communities. Once homeowners are approved, they also participate in the building.
